What is player preview day?
It’s a relaxed, engaging session where players will rotate through stations to practice basic skills like throwing, catching, and hitting. Coaches will be on hand to observe and get to know each player’s strengths and style. This helps us build balanced teams and ensure every child has a great experience.

Why do we have to attend player preview?
Our goal is to create fair, fun, and competitive teams where all players can grow and enjoy the game. Player Preview Day helps us do just that — while keeping the focus on fun and development.

What should I bring?
Glove (required)
Bat and batting helmet — please bring if available (not required if you don’t have them)
Comfortable athletic clothing your child can move in (no jeans)
Non-metal cleats (baseball or soccer), if available; regular athletic shoes are acceptable
Water bottle
Big smiles and great energy!

The RNLL board of directors and evaluator may suggest certain divisions to players who are league age 9-12 and will place players in the division that best matches their skill level. Registering for a specific division does not guarantee placement on a team in that division.
