Tryouts for the upcoming Kirkland Pony Baseball season start Saturday with fielding sessions at the Juanita High School football field.
Keep in mind that the tryout process is simply for us to ensure competitive balance. Coaches will have a chance to evaluate player's abilities so that the process of drafting and forming teams produces evenly matched squads and better competition.
There is no pressure on the players in the tryouts. All players will be placed on a team, and your child shouldn't worry if he hasn't picked up a glove since last season -- he'll be in good company.
More information, including the schedule and locations as well as contact information, is on our tryouts page.
Kirkland Pony Baseball is look for experienced managers and coaches for the upcoming season. If you have coached a youth baseball team before, or have experience as a player and think you could help, we'd be very interested in hearing from you.
